April 2009
Still going strong in its 17th year, the Face & Body 2009 Spa & Healthy Aging Conference and Expo will take place July 11–13 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
This year’s show highlights include the Advanced Education Conference Program where attendees can find two days of product-neutral education that spans across four different industry-driven tracks of business-building, esthetic science, trends and wellness/sustainability, led by highly regarded presenters.
In the Expo Hall attendees can meet their favorite vendors face-to-face and ask them specific questions about their products. The interactive expo hall offers many opportunities to watch, learn and discuss new products, treatments and techniques. Manufacturers will also be presenting their specific products and techniques, and conduct hands-on demonstrations and lectures in more than 40 separate classes.
The National Coalition of Estheticians, Manufacturers/Distributors and Associations (NCEA) will be offering a certification prep class. Becoming an NCEA Certified Professional is a voluntary recognition of achievement among peers, employer, clients and the profession. This class will help attendees prepare for and take the National Certification Exam.
Face & Body, in partnership with the San Francisco Institute of Esthetics and Cosmetology, will host a Career Networking Center on the show floor. Be sure to bring copies of your résumé and take full advantage of the opportunity to meet with recruiters, network with hiring companies, obtain career information and gain experience talking with employers.
