Van Is The Man At America’s Beauty Show!

America’s Beauty Show by Cosmetologists Chicago announces that the inimitable Van Council, recently named Artistic Director for Intercoiffure America/Canada, will be on The ABS Runway with his team throughout America’s Beauty Show at McCormick Place Chicago, March 12-14, 2016.

Don’t let Van’s soft Georgia-drawl fool you…this is a hard charging, trend-setting, bike-riding, all-guy guy who personifies everything that is good about the professional beauty industry. And the hair he does on stage at America’s Beauty Show is the hair that will be seen in salons from coast to coast in the coming months. From his Van Michael Concept Salons base in Atlanta to an ever-growing chain of salons in Japan, Van Council is The One to watch at America’s Beauty Show.

Cosmetologists Chicago and Intercoiffure America/Canada - two powerhouse associations of salon owners and salon professionals – joined forces to provide attendees at America’s Beauty Show several performances to remember by Van and his talented team.

“We are delighted,” says Intercoiffure America/Canada President Frank Gambuzza, “to partner with another like-minded association that believes in the future of our industry, and to bring the best talent to hairdressers and owners at Chicago’s only beauty show. We also look forward to meeting many at America’s Beauty Show who may be interested to add Intercoiffure membership to their membership in Cosmetologists Chicago. We’re two great groups always doing the right thing for the industry!”

Special events throughout the weekend are planned with Van Council, the Intercoiffure America/Canada board and members and Cosmetologists Chicago’s Board of Directors from leading area salons.

CC President Denise Provenzano notes  “This is our year to bring together the very finest talent from across the country and exhibits by 400+ companies and brands that salons want to buy and use. This is the year America’s Beauty Show will top all records!”
